The President of the European Council, Antonio Costa, announced on Thursday that the European Union is ready to cooperate with the Middle East within the framework of the active student engagement program and researchers from this region. In particular, the establishment of specialized degrees and grants for those interested in studying and collaborating in technological and scientific fields is planned.
According to Costa, this approach facilitates the development of creative potential and the exchange of experiences between the countries of the European Union and the countries of the Middle East. "We want to expand cooperation in the field of education and science to strengthen our ties and make education more accessible to youth from the region," he emphasized.
As part of this program, the discussion also includes an increase in funding for scientific projects and research, as well as the establishment of partnerships between educational institutions of the EU and universities in the Middle East. It is planned to create opportunities for students and researchers from both regions to exchange experiences and knowledge, which contributes to deepening mutual understanding and collaboration.
