Recently, French movie star Gérard Depardieu filmed a movie in Portugal, which was written and directed by his partner, actress Valérie Ardan. This was reported by the production company, which caused considerable discontent from the actress herself, who sued Depardieu in court due to allegations of sexual misconduct.
"On Friday, the 13th, there will be a court hearing in Paris, where in March of this year the actor was presented with allegations of sexual misconduct at the filming location of the movie 'The Silver Rain' in 2022," the company stated. The defendant denies these allegations, and the prosecution requests a sentence of 18 months of imprisonment with a suspended sentence.
The filming of the movie, in which the 76-year-old French actor participates, began last April on the island of San Miguel. The screenwriter and director of the film, Valérie Ardan, supported Depardieu during his trial.
