The document stated that the club offered referee Martins Dias help with the purchase of goods for a total of 250 thousand euros in exchange for separate decisions on the field. In response to the accusations, 'Benfica' stated that it is a victim and tried to discredit the club. From the referee's side, it was confirmed that he actually received threats from people associated with the football club.
