Former Barcelona star and Brazil national team player Dani Alves has become an investor in a Portuguese third division club. São João de Ver, a club founded in 1929, announced on its Facebook account: "This is a moment that will be etched in the club's history... Dani Alves joins as a partner in the ownership of SAD (Sports, S.A.)...". According to the sports website "Maior Football", the 42-year-old Brazilian has purchased 50% of the club's capital, with plans to acquire the remaining half by the end of the current season. The same source reports that Dani Alves is considering a return to playing and will join the Portuguese team for the next six months.
